I would urge you to call the Rules Committee Chair: Rep. Val Hoyle regarding "Invited Testimony" only on a bill that will effect every business and person in this State.
78th OREGON LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY--2015 Regular Session
House Bill 2012
Sponsored by COMMITTEE ON BUSINESS AND LABOR
The following summary is not prepared by the sponsors of the measure and is not a part of the body thereof subject to consideration by the Legislative Assembly. It is an editor’s brief statement of the essential features of the measure as introduced.
Increases Oregon minimum wage rate in graduated steps to $13.50 per hour by 2017.
Declares emergency, effective on passage.
Eric Fruits-Chair Multnomah County puts it well:
"Oregon Democrats go full steam ahead on steep increases to minimum wage. There's a hearing today, but don't bother showing up - testimony is by invitation only. But it's full steam ahead, even as Oregon loses 1,400 jobs in a single month and GAP announces 175 store closings just after it raised its minimum wage to $10 an hour."
